Highest mileage AR around ?
For some years now I have been reading here about all these beautiful spiffed up ARs with all kind of wheels and new colors what not. How about you people who drive your AR every freakin day, deal with the problems that come with it, are not into making your AR look anything but what it is, yet love it and keep driving it and already cry about the day you have to let go. I got a 2001, 195K miles, been driving her since 2004 from ~30K. Love her. Saved my life once in Chicago snowstorm (that's why she is still around
I keep looking at other cars, but I end up taking her to my trusty mechanic and keep her going.
I would love to hear your stories about "aged ARs". Anyone above 200K miles ? PING IN !

I had an allroad with 204xxx when I sold it and it ran so quiet and smooth. It was a tip and had tranny issues, so I sold it. I have a 6mt now love it, lower miles and running good. I love AR's!
I read a guys comment on here about enjoying the low end and doing easy pulls through powerband to really enjoy the AR performance and increase chances of long term reliability. I hope to chip soon but I am really happy with it stock as well. Ive had four AR's and I really want this one to last. As others will say stay on top of maintenance etc and youll have a great car for seasons to come.

199 ! Awesome ! I am going to be hitting 200K in ~month or so. I think that my AR was quite expensive to maintain and deal with before 100K and having the airsprings still on etc etc. After I did the timing belt and changed to Arnott coilovers, I've been pretty much changing oil. I do have some serious leaks and, like said, dealing with the engine light on all the time. But I regularly go for roadtrips that are 300-600 miles with my AR. I also live in a very snowy area of western NY and when I go skiing 3-4 days a week I have to drive through back roads which are hardly snowblowed, I see SUVs struggling and I just drive like no problem. Man I wish there was more similar wagons on the market today.

We spent ALL the money repairing it, but it's worth it as we love the car and fits us well. Getting ready to do t- belt # 3 soon. It's not worth any money so we keep it up... Looks like it only has 50k on it! No lie
