Did you ever solve your wood trim problem? If not, I think you were looking for the trim piece for the ash tray? Here's on on EBAY, they don't come up often for the ALLROAD, always for other models of audi's.

well when I mentioned the size of the ash tray issue to my mechanic he said he just bought one on ebay for his a6 and it was too small..? so we traded. colors acceptable but not perfect. wish i'd seen your post earlier

how did you get the door latch removed
I think its connected by the out side handle/key cylinder but I dont know/cant see how to remove it?
