Default Missfires! Ghost in the machine.

01 allroad TIP 235,000 This all started about 6months ago now. I think I've pinpointed the exact moment these missfires began and it was after power washing the engine bay. I've been chasing them ever since. Cylinder 5 and 6 are missfireing badly. First, only cylinder 5 under load apon acceleration. car bogs down and shakes badly. Cylinder 6 only missfires in reverse at idle almost no missfires what so ever under load. Tried swapping coil packs no change. Tried swapping icm's no change. Then updated the entire system to project B5s 2.0 coil conversion and icm delete by vagtech. with new plugs. No change. Have still been driveing daily but I'm at my wits end. Logged it this past Friday. Showing any where from 45-120 misses on cylinder 5 and 1-5 on cylinder 6 from 750-4500rpm acceleration approx. 0-55mph. I'm starting to suspect a short in the harness. Current codes are as follows. In the order they were trown.
EGT1 open or short to ground.
Cyl.5 ignition circuit short to ground intermittent.
Random/multiple cyl. Miss detected (of course)
Cyl. 5 miss detected.
Cyl. 6 ignition circuit short to ground intermittent.
MIL request signal active( check TCM for errors) intermittent.
PLEASE advise in any way possible what may be the next best way to proceed. I'm banging my head against a brick wall here. I actually had audi tell me they weren't going to touch it (think that's gotta be a first)

My guess would be a short in the harness.

another guess would be some water still in a connector or corrosion
might have to replace the coil packs if you havent already
