hi guys....my oil pan cracked after hitting a rock...I knew it ASAP and pulled over immediately...do you guys think there will be any damage

to my turbo or engine? the car was running fine when i shut it off

Wow some serious damage. Once you remove the entire pan you'll need to thoroughly inspect it for any debris or other contaminants... This is crucial.

Hopefully no other damage but you did done serious damage.

You should be fine if you shut it down right away. You start it up everyday with 0 oil pressure.

This just happened to me and it was my daughter driving our friend's allroad.... yikes! I got a pan on eBay or somewhere for $35, I can check if you need, and did the job in a parking lot. BTW, no gasket used here. I used orange Permatex (high temp) and it's been fine. There's still a stripe down our driveway and at the first intersection in town where she hit the brakes. She went to work about 1/2 mile and maybe got to 3rd gear. Whew, dodged a bullet! C.
