Oil Temperature Sensor failure
This question was submitted in 2007. I'm bringing it up now because I've been unsuccessful finding an answer via search either on this forum or other Allroad and Audi forums. I've also looked through the Bentley manual with no luck.
I have a 2001 Allroad 2.7T with a bad oil temp sensor. Where is the the blasted thing? It's somewhere on the engine block -- not on the oil pan -- and I think it's on the front of the block, but I can't see it, and I don't want to have to remove the radiator to prove I'm right (or wrong).
Anyone know?
