Default osch QuietCast Premium Disc Brake Rotors & Pads

I have read about many complaints regarding brake noise on A6/Allroad Audi models. I have experienced unbearable noise on my Allroad as well more than once with aftermarket pads and rotors. When I go back to the so called "oem" setup the noise disappears or is much more subtle.

I wonder if anyone has given this set a try:

+Bosch 14010019 QuietCast Premium Disc Brake Rotor
+Bosch BP839 QuietCast Premium Disc Brake Pad Set

Any experience much appreciated.

I am told that Zimmerman makes the OEM rotors for Allroads, and I am not sure what the actual oem brand is on my car. The pads that the mechanic put on as oem turned out to be made by Pagid.
The OEM's are ok but boy, they produce so much dust!

I was going to get Akebono pads with Zimmerman or Mayle but I came across horrible stories with Akebono+Zimmerman set, soemone said they just do not go together.

Anyway, in case anyone is reading these posts over the holiday weekend, please reply with your advice or experiences.

Akebono pads.
Pretty much every single rotor is exactly the same.
Just go with the cheapest one, honestly.

I use Zimmerman rotors and Akebono pads on all of my Audi's. No issues.

I have the Bosch rotors on the rear of my car, they seem to be good quality. OEM, Zimmerman, and Bosch are all about the same and not made in China.

I have Akebono pads all around, and they are okay, but I will try something else next time. They don't create any dust so that is good, but the initial bite when cold is much less than an OEM type pad.
