Default Parrot CK3000 Bluetooth installation update.....

<center><img src="http://www.mcgovernmotors.com/images/PeikerHFbuttons.JPG"></center><p>
My second attempt today at a different shop to get the CK3000 installed in my 04 Allroad with the Bose system did not work out.

The short story is that they could not easily get it to work without some special adaptor cable for the bose even with the Uber_AR notes:

I was determined to drive away with Bluetooth working so while my car was still somewhat torn apart I decided to have them install their signature Bluetooth kit called the Peiker HF which does not come through the Bose speaker system but it does mute the stereo and the sound quality with the Peiker speaker is more then
acceptable.

I called my wife from the system and she said the quality of my hands free voice was outstanding.

Attached is a picture of the button controller which does have some features that the Parrot does not.

I will be selling the Parrot kit for $95.00 in case anyone is interested.

Default Sorry you had problems... The install is super easy I don't know what

your installer was thinking???

I will give you the 411 - Just cut the plugs off the Parrot and wire direct. It took me less than 2 hours from start to finish to make a custom wire loom and install the system.

If you guys have specific questions AIM me ScreenName: SmartPhoneDepot

BTW - MTM wipe that red goo off your console !

Default Wait a whole F'ing minute!!

What is that button panel you have pictured there????

I have a Parrot CK3000 in my 2001 Allroad (non-bose) and
i have a much simpler button panel (2 buttons - initate call &amp; Hang up)

I would love to have a panel that was ne for the two functions and included a volume control. I often have to adjust the volume on my phone (side buttons) for louder than normal calls.

I need to call those guys.

BTW: I installed mine with no probs.....That damn Bose - sorry about that....

Default Sorry for the confustion. The control you see in the picture...

is for the Peiker HF Bluetooth kit that I had installed. MUCH more expensive then the Parrot product.

Mike
