passenger side view mirror

My wife shattered the housing and glass on the passenger side view mirror on her 2005 allroad 2.t manual. Does anyone know if the mirror is the same for the manual and the automatic? I have a chance of finding a used assembly taken off of an automatic, but 6 speeds are kind of rare. Also, are the assemblies the same for 2001-2005? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see why they would be different. The motor and trans shouldn't have anything to do with the side mirrors so I think you are safe in getting that one.
