Hi All

I have an 2002 Allroad with failing suspension .

There is a leak in the front drivers air bag and maybe a leaking rear as well , worn rear shocks , weak compressor and the valve block looks to have been tampered with and is tape to the rear anti roll bar .

So with all these issues to resolve Iv decided to replace the air with steel springs . Im looking a coilover kits designed to fit the A6 quattro . I think these should fit the Allroad ,but I would need to buy front and rear strut top mounts as the quattro coilover kit appears to use the cars original top mounts , and the allroads cannot be used . Can anyone confirm if this will work before I start buying .

I had a shop swap out my air suspension system. Here's what they used:

I've been happy with the result, and I sold off the working components to recoup some of the cost. I had one of the replacement struts fail, it was replaced free under warranty.

I would love to keep my air ride but I like it low but I cant see myself spending 3400 on 4 bags and 4 shocks for parts alone
