Turbo Or Power steering pump?
I have been hearing a whining noise from drive side of the engine and not sure if it the turbo or power steering pump, any trick to figure out which one it is without tearing the motor apart?

SAI pump going...if it happens at start up and goes away after the car warms up. They're know to fail, and some people remove them or relocate them(there is a kit for that from audi).
