what is this wire on top of my rear bumper support?
looks factory mounted. it just ends.. what is this for??
i cut it open and its a copper wire with clear insulation. this looks like an antenna for something?

Strange. I'm trying to remember if I had that when I did my tow hitch.
You are right though. Looks like a type of antennae.
