Who wants a trailer hitch? There is now a better option available.

You guys are goofy, why wait for someone to make a plug for you? Amazon has universal ones for cheap and then just get a wire harness.
Universal plug from china on ebay
And then just fallow wiring diagram from a few posts ago, this is so easy to make and idiots are selling them on ebay for $80. Cost me $20 to make one
SOMEONE WANNA MAKE ME A 2" TRAILER HITCH FOR MY ALLROAD?

This may be a stupid question but will it work without the converter? Can I just wire the 13pin to a 4pin with the wires that are needed and plug it in? (I have 13pin and 4pin plugs already)
I don't know all that much about towing electrical so just wondering why it needs that.
I'm not pulling a trailer I just carry my dirtbike on the back with one of those bike haulers. I want to put lights on it though because the wheels of my bike stick out over the tail lights a bit making them somewhat hard to see. Before some idiot rear-ends me and potentially destroys the car/hitch/carrier/bike and then blame not being able to see my tail lights I figured it safest to just put some simple lights on the carrier. Also don't want Johnny Law busting my ***** about it should he be in the mood to ruin my day. So again do I need that power converter to make that possible?
Thanks.
Here's a pic. Never seen anyone do this with an AR yet.

You have two choices for new Allroad hitch assemblies: The Bosal from Europe that won'l let you use anything but the ball for trailers (it's a metric size slightly smaller than a 2" so it slops in the trailer coupler) or one from Justin, which does allow different receiver adapters. Justin's is designed after the OEM hitch Audi no longer offers. I had a Bosal on our first AR that I pulled and switched to a Justin when he decided to produce them. I got a second from him for our second AR.
I use a 13-pin connector similar to the Chinese one in your ebay link and a Hoppy 7-4 converter so that the independent turn signals operate the brake lights.

There are pictures of the OEM hitch that's quite similar to Justin's at: Tow Hitch Install (USA) by Gragravar
