Yup. That's the sensible, logical solution, IMHO.

Well, I need a new Gen I air spring AND I also need a new pump as my pump seems to be on it's way out. Granted, I could try swapping the air spring first and see if the pump can hang in there... And maybe buy the pump but not install it until the old one finally gives out -- and if it never does give out, sell it on eBay, etc.

still leaning towards steel conversion to BLAU coil springs -- as Arnott won't stand behind their product when ownership has changed hands.

Have you rebuilt the compressor yet with Andy's kit? My front shocks both leak, but after the rebuild, the car rides normal and all levels work.

Yes. I installed the replacement piston ring using pipingAndy's kit this past winter. It didn't seem to make any difference back then. I wonder if maybe the piston walls are too worn or something.

That is strange. Not only did mine fix the lift issue, it cut the time to a 3rd. You might want to try spraying the compressor with soapy water while the pump is running. Sometimes the seal for the cylinder will not seat properly.

Ordered the BLAU coil spring kit on Thursday as they had a 4th of July 10% off special.

Looking forward to doing the swap soon as my pump seems to be almost dead.

Also looking forward to never seeing a suspension light ever again and never having to repeat the same frustrating repair again as I presume these struts and springs will outlast the rest of the car at this point.

I've had to replace both my front struts under warranty. They are less than two years old. Unfortunately, I don't think they'll outlast your car, but I agree that never having to see the suspension light or see a sagging car in the morning is very nice!
