And you wonder why participation in voting is at a very low ebb. This club is truly a mess right now. After owning 8 audis since 1997, and seeing what has transpired over the past few years...I really have very little desire to continue membership. I plan to buy another audi soon..but be less and less involved with the club. And being member 4553, since about July 1997, that should say something.

Steve, ACNA Officers are elected by the BoD every year in January. I know no more details than that since I am now, like you, just a "rank and file ACNA member" since my term as a Director ended Dec 31, 2008.

Oh yeah, and member number sequence must have changed at some point. I still have an old QCUSA card from 1992 and my member number on it was 017863 and now my ACNA number is 6839.

I feel your pain, I am burned, and bummed, out too....

No idea of committees. The always-behind ACNA website has Committees from some time long past. It states that Mike Collier and Matt Hull are supposedly co-chairs of the Policies and Procedures committee. I know Mike isn't on the committee because he was summarily booted without notice from the committee when Mr. Earley took over the chair in 2008.

I wouldn't hold your breath on getting info from the new board. Open, honest and transparent have become merely words on the now-useless Code of Ethics.

Thank you. Functionally, the next step is posting the minutes for 12/30 and the earlier meeting in January.

These positions should be shown in there. At least my list had the names and terms right if one ignores the "?" marks!

The club has very significant opportunities in 2009. I'm not going to prejudge what comes from the ACNA board or ACNA staff in this environment.

Let's all help and see what happens.

Don't forget the October minutes that haven't shown up yet either.

I find it interesting that the November minutes indicate they tabled approval of the October minutes - one would think the first order of any BoD meeting is to amend/approve minutes from any previous meeting...
