Default Paris Drop Off Clarification

One of the Bimmerfest user shared his experience with current Paris drop off

I dropped my 435 today in Paris. It was pretty easy to find Terminal 3 at the airport, however, I had to drive around a little bit to find TT to actually drop off the car.

Like most airports, the parking and traffic flow goes in circle. It's just a matter of picking the right circle. So are you come around in terminal 3 off the main road, the easiest thing to do is to follow the taxis. They are all going in the lot right next to you.

I've attached a picture of the drop off area. The other thing to note is a sign that shows Puegeot and Citroen. THAT is the lot. Don't look for BMW anywhere like I was. This site also does delivery of those cars for ex-pats.

The other thing that was confusing was a "do not enter" type sign which made me pause the first time I went around.

Also, because I went the wrong way the first time, I discovered there is a car wash in that same area. They ask us to wash our cars. Not sure how strict the US is on that, but I was pleased to get it washed and all the junk off of it. There were a couple drive through car washed on the way and this is just a sprayer (which I'm more comfortable with).

I hope this helps a little bit. The key here is stay right and look for that sign!

Thanks TIME89! I will be dropping my 2015 A6 off here in September. A picture is worth a thousand words. I also have a map which shows the filling station and car wash nearby within the CDG Airport complex.

I love those "euro" ED plates. I still don't understand why Audi uses those "motorcycle" plates. If BMW can use it, why not Audi? Sigh...

If your car is very dirty, I recommending using a full-service car wash. I dropped my Q5 off here in March and it was extremely dirty form driving thru rain and snow. I used that self-serve sprayer and it just did not get the car very clean. I must have used it 4 times. It was close to closing time at the drop-off so I didn't have the time to find anything else. If you do use this self-serve wash, make sure you have some euro coins for the tokens. I only had bills. Put in a 20 Euro note and got a bunch of tokens, and gave the remaining ones to the person at the drop-off counter.
