Default Canister

Hey Guys,

i been having gas smell lately. i notice it more around when i park my car after a decent drive (30min+). now i know a faulty O ring on the injectors might be the cause (i have the rings planning on replacing them). but i was reading around and some site mentioned a canister. i personally never heard of it and i was wondering if Urs6's have this canister? and if so, where is it?

here's the link to maybe help make clear what im trying to say

Gasoline Smell in Car, 5 Common Causes

thanks guys

The carbon canister is just behind the right front tire, hidden behind the bottom of the front quarter-panel. Sometimes one of the factory hose clamp doesn't hold and a hose slips off. If you remove the wheel-well liner, which isn't too difficult with the wheel off, you can access it.
