Default instrumnt panel light watage?

My instrument panel is hard to read in twilight conditions, it'
s just not bright enough.

I replaced all the lights with 1.1w orange housing bulbs, which was an improvement over half teh byulbs being out entirely, but it's still not bright enough.

Tried LED strips, but without a lot of success yet, so I'm thinking that I just need to get brighter lights for back there.

Anyone know what wattage/housing color/part number I should be looking for?

Thanks!

Too bad you didn't ask us first. The usual upgrade is to 2W bulbs (you need 10).

893919040A = Instrument Light; 12V/2W Bulb with Green Base

One C4 DIY here:

Dash lights = most asked question perhaps?

He's back
I'm way behind on QW but from what I've gathered reading up to page 4 perhaps, hope you had a good trip south (in an Audi hopefully)

Tx. I had the LED strips lying about from model airplane projects, so no harm done.

Where do you source these?

(and I swear I tried a forum search before posting..)
