Quick answer is any of the hoses, pipes or devices shown in the diagram below *AND* the head gasket (maybe the No.1 source on an older AAN with the original paper and metal headgasket). More headgasket and headbolt info.

I just browsed through all the links in the article - many thanks as always. I did find a dead link. "Radiator" in the list at the end of the article goes to a 404 page:

I just replaced my turbo coolant return line... I can't complain, though.. it was leaking but didn't fail completely.

So, good news, no trouble getting the part and I took the opportunity to check all the other hoses.

Thanks for the heads up. I have fixed the problem (again) . It was caused by WORD and the ASCII symbol it uses for close quotation (") Not the same as the one here (Duh)

Good news on the turbo coolant return line.
