Default Need your help and opinions please (for sale ?)

Ok so I have owned my audi s6 for 3 years now and have put over 15k in her fixing all the things that were neglected. Now before I put another 15k to 20k into her for more power,6speed,chassis work and body and paint. My lovely wife has asked me to think about selling my car and picking up a older mustang 65-68. And build it up. I really love my audi here is some of her build list...

2bennett coil over program
2bennett front 6 prison big brake kit
2bennett rear big brake kit
Apikol rear sway bar
Apikol 1.8t coil conversion
Stage 1 chip? 20lbs of boost tapering to 17
V8 rear limited slip differential
Efi express downpipe with smog legal carb cat.

I'm sure there is more but it's a great running car and everything works minus the cruise control?

My wife is worried about when I pass away she won't be able to find parts or someone to work on the audi. I have 2bennett less than 60 minutes from where I live. And have made a list of websites to find parts.

Her argument is that there are way more parts available for the classic mustangs. Yes there are but there is something about the urs that is almost magical. If you have ever driven a proper running urs car you know what I'm talking about.

I have had the car to the track wnen no other mods except the chip was done and she ran a 14.62 not bad for a car that is 20 years old and had 190k on her.

The audi reminds me of myself getting on in years but still some spunk😋

Anyway if you guys and gals help me out to try to sway my wife to the Audi and give me some good points to tip the scales in my favor it would be great.

Thank you very much and here are a few pictures of the other woman in my life....

Dear Mrs. BB1995S6:

Your husband owns the car he loves. Any vintage car is a labor of love - even a classic Mustang will lose you time and money. So why not leave off asking him to get rid of the vintage car he wants?

Any old car will be difficult to keep running, but the key running parts for his are still available - many of the stock parts direct from the Audi network. Expertise is needed for an URS6 as much as a vintage Mustang. And should the worst come to pass, either can be sold to cover some of the years of ownership.

So, leave your husband be with his URS6. Don't pressure him to do something he will resent you for.
