Help me find a new camera...
My Cannon SD100 (3.0 megapixel) digital camera just died the other day, so I need to find a replacement.
I know this should be on the off-topic forum, but what can I say, I value the advice of other ur-S car owners more.
So, I have no idea how to choose, but... I really don't want to spend mch more than about $200.
I was thinking about this one, but I HATE that f'ing Sony memorystick BS!!!! I want something that takes an SD card.

So, here's the recs...
7.2 megapixel (or, more)
SD or mini-SD card format
takes good (at least decent) indoor pictures
prefer a manual lense cover/ON
firewire would be nice (because I have a Mac)
I really prefer using the memory card (and f' that memory card $hit) as I have a Dazzle card adapter that goes right into the laptop. I hate using the cumbersome software that comes with these things...
Anyways, this is long enough. Any advice or ideas would be helpful. THANKS!

I recently bought a Samsung L77, and it is an AWESOME camera!
It is super thin, easy to use, and has some pretty great features. Here is a review: http://www.digitalcamerareview.com/default.asp?newsID=3114
It is a bit more than 200, but I am here to tell you that it is a great little camera, and pretty tough too!

Well, I'm a big fan of Cannon optics, but....
My current camera had some challenges. Overal a decent camera, but HORRIBLE for indoor, and the back screen was too small to tell how your picture turned out.
Then again, it wasn't a very expensive model and its several years old... 4-5 years is like ancient for a technology like this.
Biggest problem was there was a wheel to select between view, video, take picture, etc... And, it was a poor design.
