Question about brake light on dash
#11
I'll update when I get done.

BTW, would you mind listing your vendor? They're getting hard to come by and they are wear parts.

443612061H is the correct PN and Febi/Bilstein (Made in Germany) should be good.
Be careful. The system is under considerable pressure unless you have pumped the pedal until it is dead with the engine off. Even then, there is pressure.

Thanks for the warning
We are going to spray the fittings the day before and flush out some of the old fluid with new stuff for about 50 miles or so. I was told that dirt get in places where it should not be. Then drain and change the bomb then refill. I'll keep you guys informed.
I'm going to be at Audi summer fest and Dino day on Saturday @ 034 motor sports see what she puts down after a few maintenance items have been taken care of.

Update just changed the bomb the screening the bolt was plugged bad. And changed it without a issue, yesterday I did a flush of the fluid. So the fluid is very clean.
Good news the brake light shuts off right after I release the key from the start position😃
Bad news other than that I still have the same issue 😩
what I want to know is ...... Does that switch on the brake master reservoir control the red brake light on the dash? Or how about the sensor on the power steering reservoir? I'm pretty sure the e brake switch on the handle does too.
Help please

It's the light on the dash for the e- brake the square red one! But now I have a worse problem than that on my way home when I got off the freeway the steering started to growl I thought maybe it was low but boy was I wrong the power steering pump is puking fluid and the rack is leaking onto the top of the transmission and there is ch202 all over my engine compartment? I was told that the 202 replaced the old stuff that has been in my car but I'm thinking that it does not. I had to change it when we replaced the brake bomb. Was I given wrong info? I find it hard to believe that the pump and the rack could both go out at the same time? Any suggestions?
