Default suspension issues tire rubbing

So my front passenger side tire is rubbing up against the inner fender body part of my car. It makes a terrible rubbing sound if I make a hard turn. Its like the whole rotor and hub and everything is too close to the back end of the car. Can this be fixed with an alignment or is it more involved than that.

You didn't mention tire size. I've had that issue once when I ran some A8 wheels with 225/60/16 tires (instead of UrS4/S6 225/50/16s). So that can be an issue.

Otherwise, there is a chance that a) you have front end damage or b) your lower control arm bushing(s) (item 3 below) and/or front antisway bar bushings (items 2) have worn (or the Item 8 nut is loost) and the strut is too far back in the wheel well.

I am running the stock wheels with the stock 225/50/16 tires. The car has had previous front end damage, but had been repaired before I bought it. When I bought the car in October 2012 I got new tires mounted and balanced and an alignment, and the mechanic didn't mention anything was out of place. However I didn't really notice the noise and pull then either. I have hit a curb parking, but it didn't seem like it was hard enough to cause any damage. I guess some new parts are in order, my question now is what all should I replace? Here's a few pics of the tie rod and control arm and strut (which is shot and needs to be replaced anyway)

Does anything move when you grab and pull? Jack your car up and try and see what is moving before you start buying parts. That pretty significant if your suspension geometry has moved. Looks like your rubber on your tie rod end has a cut but I cant imagine that would cause your problems. If your not sure take it to an alignment guy, a good shop should be able to tell you within minutes whats going on.
