Default Thinking of selling my 94 S4

Hey guys,

I'm hoping to get some advice on what my car may be worth. I've attached photos that hopefully give enough of an idea for an estimated value. It has 146,834 miles right now, and is running without issue. I recently had a lot of work done on it, including a new RS2 Manifold, new OEM K24 turbo (the old one had some bent fins that made it whine really loudly), fixed the cruise control, and had the entire turbo system looked through (several boost leaks were found and fixed). It has aftermarket lowering springs (H&R) and suspension (Bilstein). The tires were replaced within the last 3k miles at Discount Tire with warranty, they are all season pirelli cinturato P7's. The original owner before me used 15w50 Mobile 1 full synthetic, which is what I've used as well (last change at 145k miles. There is a little rust on the driver's side (see pic) and the rear bumper is a little faded. It also has a little rash on the rear right wheel, and other expected wear and tear for the age of the car. I think that's about everything, thanks for your time and please let me know if there are other pictures/questions you may want to see or have. I live in Colorado.

David

I sold my solid '95 with still nice black interior last year for $4,600, easily. It had like 180k and was stock with an MTM stage 1+ chip, silicone hoses, and LS2 ignition .. no rust issue or bumper issue. .. You have a few issues and I'm not sure those wheels help .. some nice fixes/parts, but are there other issues that need addressing .. and you have an Ecru interior .. I probably could have gotten more for mine if I tried, and I'm in Carolina .. The rust is worrisome but I'd guess you can still get perhaps $6k without too much trouble, unless things have changed lately. Just my .02

I'll turn my signature ON so you can see it below -

Thanks so much! I was thinking somewhere around 6k, so I appreciate your confirmation.

A note for new folks - offering to sell or buy an item on the discussion forums is not permitted. Perhaps not this one but "How much is my car worth" posts, especially with lots of info and pictures, are often "for sale" posts in disguise. Please do not communicate any sales or pricing info or inquiries here - use the AW classifieds section instead to offer a car for sale.

Thanks for the info, I didn't mean to push the rules... I don't see a way to remove the thread, would you mind doing that?

You're ok. Just don't have any pricing or sales discussions here. If you decide you want to try and sell your car, just create a post over in the classifieds section.
