Default Went to go recharge the a/c system... HELP!!!

Kinda scared to do it myself. I can't seem to find the low side port? the high side is up front in front of the radiator. Any help would be great guys... It's too damn hot here still.

Default AFAIK, it's not really a DIY on these cars. But there might be something if you search.

Particularly on Audifans, s-car list.<ul><li><a href="http://www.audifans.com/pipermail/s-car-list/2007-July/061533.html">Follow this link to a thread in July Audifans.</a></li></ul>

Default Why not pay someone who knows what they're doing? Cost me all of $35 over the summer...

...to have the S6 topped off.

Default you can't do it yourself and there is only a high side port

you need a machine to do it. make sure they don't try to fill it with the car running...

Default You can't DIY it right without the right equipment. You need to evac and add a measured charge.

You might be able to get a charge into it by heating a tank and inserting through the highside, but it's dangerous and the result is questionable. I DIY almost everything, but I have a shop that does my alignments and AC charges.

^^ Ding, agree with you 100%, alignments and AC charges should be left to the pros!

Default You can do it yourself, but it's dangerous and you must be careful.

Default

I wouldn't mess with it. Leave that to professionals with proper experience and equipment.
