Default 2008 A5 Bluetooth/Telephone fault

Hi all,

been trying to suss this out for a while, a year ago, randomly I lost pairings with my BT Telephone.

i tried different phones, reset defaults, hard reset on MMI2 yet no joy.

today and pulled almost every fuse out to check, no fuse issues and tried rebooting again.

ive had a VCDS Ross Tech scan by my local garage but they want £80 an hour for a specialist to assess.

under 77 came several faults;

01524 Antenna, short to ground
01524 Antenna, open circuit
02619 Communications wire adaptor, no signal

has anyone the foggiest idea at what is at play here?

Media system operates perfectly normal just can't pair, really bugging me now

cheers

j

I think this is due to the radio system or the phone system, have you tried other phones? If it still doesn't work, you may need to contact the car dealer to update the radio system fireware. I got similar issue before, but I just fix it simply by replacing a new aftermarket radio from seicane since the dealer from audi charge much to update a radio firmware system.
