I took delivery of a CPO 2015 Audi A3 on Thursday evening. Haven't had the chance to test out the navigation until this morning, but to my dismay it does not work! The icon shows the car in downtown Los Angeles, but I live in SW Connecticut. When inputting an address it tries to navigate me from LA. And when I drive around it will not move the icon from the same spot in Los Angeles, but it may at times give me updated guidance.

1) I've reset (ctrl-alt-delete) the MMI and the issue remains.
2) I've selected the MMI to set the nav back to factory default in the settings, but no change.


Searched the trunk to see if there is a loose wire or something, and found a cubby that I could open. It is empty inside, is that normal?








There appears to be a plastic carriage of some sort that should hold something. Perhaps the navigation system? DVD or hard drive?

Just take it to the dealer. They'll fix it under warranty. Looks like a disconnected sat antenna or something.

Also - when posting about a specific model - it is better to post in the model forums - as the electronics etc can be in a different spot for each model car
