I'm new here and whilst I've read as exhaustively as possible, please forgive me if I've missed a definitive answer to this.

I have a 2010 A4 Avant with MMI 3g high (3D navigation etc).

I can play DVDs fine through the front DVD slot and would like to be able to play video and album artwork from my iPhone 6 or even my old iPhone 4.

My Audi supplier tells me that's it's not possible because my model does not support video. I'm thinking this must be an error as I can play DVDs and the supplied manual makes many references to using AV inputs.

Can anyone give me a definite answer as to whether this is possible and which lead I should buy? I don't even mind buying the old 'Red' lead and an Apple 30/lightning adaptor if that works rather than a new lightning cable.

I've spent hours trying to research an answer so any help would be greatly appreciated!
