Just got an iPhone 6 with ios9, Is there a way to make this connect to the AMI?

Very much appreciated!

You can buy the yellow grommet AMI Lightning cable or use the red grommet AMI 30 pin cable with an Apple 30 pin to Lightning adapter (no video pass through the adapter).

Hmm. It's the right cable. Try doing a hard reboot of the phone and a reboot of the MMI with the phone connected. Sometimes that works to clear a connection problem.

The only thing left is a bad cable or an earlier B8 that doesn't support a Lightning AMI cable (you don't say what year you have). Try it on one of the B8s of your year on the dealer's car lot to confirm if it works. I know a MY2014/2015 B8 with MMI Nav 3G Plus will support it.
