CD Changer alternative
Hello,
I have recently bought a used A6 Sline 2007, and the cd changer will play ads for a few tracks, begin to skip and then display the message that the cd is unreadable. I've bought a cd cleaner and it hasn't helped as this happens on copied and original disks. (a quick google has shown this is quite common).
I'm trying to see if there are any alternatives to a CD player, I'd like to install a USB/SD reader so I don't have to rely on the CD changer. I've seen models like this on eBay, but never found one compatible for my car as they are always for older model cars Audi A6 1999-2004 Car Stereo USB SD AUX In iPod Interface Adaptor & BT Option | eBay
I would of normally just bought a replacement CD changer, but 2 google results have shown users replacing the unit to still be left with the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
