Hi everyone,

I just purchased a 2012 A6 CPO and am thrilled with it - after 48 hours.

Today, I pressed the the Voice Control button on the steering wheel to give an address and the system told me that "Navigation is not Active". Now mind you, it's telling me that when I can see the car move on the map.
I tried pressing the button several times but got the same result.
Finally, I stopped, turned off the car for 10 minutes, turned it back on and pressed Voice Control, which worked fine.
Pressing the button again gave me the same "navigation is not active".

I've seen bug reports of this sort since 2005 but no answer. Does anyone have any idea of what can be causing this?

Problem solved. The user is an idiot and has fat fingers.

What was it? I'm having the same problem.

Most likely he was hitting the "Nav" button on the right side of the steering wheel instead of the voice command button.
