MID LCD Text Misalignment

MID LCD Text Misalignment
Hi all,
I'm having a weird problem and hope someone can help out. I replaced the MID LCD in my MK1 TT and after installing it appeared to work great. While calibrating the needles I did not have the rear connectors fully locked in and I suspect one shifted, momentarily blipping the power to the cluster. Now the text is misaligned on the LCD.
I have been able to get the LCD to display 3 states randomly by removing the battery cable with the cluster "on", powering off the car, reinstalling the battery cable, and turning the car back "on".
-Pixels inverted and only slightly offset to the right
-Pixels inverted and mirrored
-Pixels inverted, mirrored, and flipped
-Pixels normal and wrapped very far to the right
The least of all evils is pixels inverted and only slightly offset to the right, but it still shows text wrapped when viewing the "MPG" pane.
Anyone have an experience with this and how to fix?
Thank you!

As much as I hate to admit, it was my soldering job that was at fault! The LCD is extremely susceptible to interference from flux left on the board. I desoldered, tinned all connections on both PCB and ribbon, cleaned the flux with IPA, and resoldered with great results. Working as expected!
