Mmi g2 sw update makes it work with iPad like ami g3?
Hello everyone,
I just bought a 2006 audi a8 4.2q.
I am looking for a solution to stream Bluetooth audio from my iPhone 6.
Found many options for 10-15$ cables from ami to USB, figured I can connect u Bluetooth to USB adaptor on the end of the cable and have music from my iPhone playing and CONTROLLED from the multimedia system.
After some research I realized those are only compatible with vehicles 2009 and up, but I did find many software updates, which to my understanding makes my a existing system function just like a g3,
Therefor allowing me to connect AMI to USB to BT.
Anyone can shed some light on the facts here?
