I have the same issue as everyone else re radio stuck on safe mode. I started by following the instructions on manual but punched the wrong code 1 too many times. Tried to wait 45min to 1hr before trying again, now it's stuck on Safe mode. Not sure what to do.
Didn't find anything in the forum that answers this issue. Can someone pls help? Thanks!

Contact the dealer they can give you a new code to get it out from the safe mode

Thanks Johndeera! Got an appt to have the dealer pull the radio code.

Thank you so much! Contacted the dealer---it'll cost $38 to have them pull the radio code but it'll be worth it.

My problem is similar, My radio is in Safe mode, I am able to enter the code onto the screen but because I did not get a manual with my Audi when I purchased it and I don't know how to "enter" the code I input. What button do I push? next,

Dealership told us to leave the radio on for 3 hours before trying again. So we turned off engine, left our radio on, went to see a movie, had dinner, and reset after 3 hours, it worked! Try it. But once you unlock your radio, make sure you know how to punch in your code correctly before you attempt again or you'll be back to square one. Good luck!
