Default SD Cards

Can anyone enlighten me on how put music on my SD Card for my A5? I've tried to put music on the card which it says it has however when I put it into the car it won't play😠 I've currently got all my music on iTunes.
Any ideas would be appreciated

How big is the card and what year is your car?

There is a limit on the size of the memory card that your car will read. I think it is 1 GB or 2 GB. If your card is 512 mb and it still won't read then check for file compatibility. Make sure you are using MP3 files.

I think you can use MP4 files too which are larger than mp3 (read that more data and better sound)

I wonder if the card was formatted correctly too.

Hi there, sorry about the delay in answering earlier the card is 8GB the car is 2011. I checked in the manual and it said it takes up to 8GB. The only conclusion is that it could be the format! 😳
