Hi - I've recently bought a 2016 A4 S-Line with (I think) the MMI 3G+ Nav.

In the instruction manual it states that you you use SD Crads or USB Sticks with a stupidly high size limit (I forget the exact figure) as long as the file format is FAT32, exFAT or NTFS.

I bought a 128GB USB Stick specifically for the car (128GB is well within the stated limit) and I have tried formatting as both FAT32 and NTFS, but in both instances it doesn't show all of the music which is actually on the stick. Some of the files are on there but won't play, other folders (many) are missing completely.
When I plug the USB stick back in the computer the files and folders are definitely on there and playable. They're all mp3 format.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Next I think i'll buy a 128GB SD CARD and see if I have the same problem with that....

i thought that the largest USB stick allowed was 32 GB. if you stick a larger one, it will only look at the first 32 GB

i do not think that this as an AUDI issue

it is a limitation of FAT32 along with the USB driver set than audi uses.

So in North America you're still on the B8 A4?
