Default Any of you ever use Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine?

I just bought some but haven't used the stuff yet. I read a few comments before and did a bit of research. Almost sounds too good to be true but thought I'd give it a shot. I like the idea of not having to rinse the car.

It's a fine product. I've used it for a long time. You really need to understand the wash technique when using it so as to ensure you're not damaging the finish of your car.

After quite a bid of reading, I decided to try the Wash + Shine. The Canadian winter is brutal so I took the car to coin wash, just shampoo and rinse for $4. Went home and did the two buckets job. In fact, I also used the Quick Detail on finishing. Great results except my car was still warm on the Hood, it left a bit of streak on the warm spots. Our city prohibits washing car with any chemicals drain into storm sewer system, this worked out well. Planned to do Opti-coat later this spring.

Thanks. Would you mind elaborating on the wash technique?

Here are some additional thoughts on using ONR (and more!):

Scott has been using ONR for a long time!

In case anyone was wondering, this thread was moved from its origin which was the B8 S4 forum.

Yes, it seemed far more appropriate to have it in the Detailing section since the disucssion isn't specific to the S4.
