Default To de chrome or not to de chrome?

I was planning on plasti dipping all chrome on my car and the grey grille itself. Need opinions. Also if somebody is photoshop capable and can show me a comparison?

Not the same car, or plasti but here is a blacked out grill (black Optics package with black rings) on my Q7. Depends on the look you are going for. Color wise I wanted contrast without chrome so I have a lighter car with zero chrome (last pieces come off in about 10 days when I pick up the black tailpipes).

Chrome is like SS in kitchens, it will not go out of style. Black everything is the current trend but it will soon fade. It's been popular for about three years now and it is a trend that is maturing. For your car, I would focus on your wheels first. And depending on what you get it just might complement the chrome trim you already have. You may also want to consider moving to state that doesn't require a front license plate. LOL
