Default Duplicolor, yay or nay!

I have a few minor scratches and scuffs I wanna touch up on my 06 A4! Has anyone used duplicolor to make any paint corrections? My color is consider "Moral Blue" and I used one of my nail polishes to touch up one small area and it worked great but I want it to last!

Any advice?

Thanks 👍

I haven't used duplicolor before, but I would recommend going to our sister site, Autogeek.net and checking this out: And i'm seeing a blue color for the 2006 A4's as a Moro Blue Pearl, color code is LZ5J/P7, if that's it?

Dr. Colorchip Road Rash Complete Paint Chip Repair Kit - Dr. ColorChip Paint Chip Repair, dr. color chip, repair paint chips, touch-up paint, Doctor Color-Chip Paint Chip Repair

Also here's an amazing write up by Mike Phillips over at Autogeekonline.net on how to use the Dr. Colorchip kit:

Hope this helps and good luck!

Honestly, I think a better result would be obtained by using Audi touch-up paint to fill and blob, then Langka to remove the blob... ? Filling in rock chips is pretty easy stuff, but it still leaves a crater.

Thank y'all! I had some success this weekend with some major compounding, polishing and waxing! Turned out great!

I think I have just a couple of spots left that I will definitely need to touch up, but so far so good! 👍
