Wheel Weight Adhesive
95 A6 Stock Wheels
Anybody know how to get the adhesive residue off of the wheels? This is the leftover stuff from the wheel weights that are glued on. I've tried 3M Adhesive Remover with some success, but it won't remove everything. The guys at the tire shop that do the wheel balancing are clueless about how to get rid of it.

P21S Total Auto wash should do the trick. Spray it on, let it sit 5 or 10 minutes, and wipe off...
however, keep in mind that it will remove any wax on your wheels, so rewax them afterwards.
This stuff has many uses, and from my experience works wonders.<ul><li><a href="http://www.carcareonline.com/p21_autowash_10407.html">P21S Total Auto Wash</a></li></ul>

Carcareonline recommends oil flow safety solvent.
