Just some easy sponging...I had to re-apply more KABOOM to the really bad wheel once more.

Default I was going to clay bar if this didn't work. The wheels aren't anything special, so I didn't mind...

...if I damaged the paint a little. My car, on the other hand, is a little more than special. I don't think I'll be using acid wash on my A4's clearcoat/paint.

I guess so, I did use dishwashing gloves during the procedure. I need to edit that into the post...

Default I was at that stage a week ago with the wheel cleaner. I know how you feel...

...I was at this stage last year as well. I thought the clear coat had yellowed. It seemed like nothing would take it off :-/

i think I've seen it heavily stocked at Bed, Bath and Beyond as well.

You can also get Kaboom wipes, which might make things a little easier.
