1999 a4 quatro 1.8t brake problem!
hi, thanks for any feedback whats so ever it all helps.
so my cuz was taking a right hand turn on ice going to fast (and furious) and he hit the curb with the right wheel and popped up it. When he drove back off of it he had lost his brake pressure, i checked his hose and it was busted. The hose looked like when he hit the curb his right wheel like pressed more into the car then it should of pushing the hose going into the caliper on the (shock) and snapped the hose, so i replaced the hose and the hardline and bled the brakes several times, with no success the brakes go to the floor and barely stop the car, any suggestion? i called my audi dude and he said air is in the abs module what do you guys think any other reason for this to happen>? thanks

Well, lots of thoughts although without looking at it i have little to go on.
1. you likely have a bunch of suspension damage as well, if you damaged the brake line. Not easy to do. Start looking around for bent stuff.
2. If you lost a lot of fluid, you could well have bled the abs module dry. To re-fill it and bleed it, you need to run the abs pump. The only practical way is to use a diagnostic tool to turn it on, while you apply brake fluid pressure with a pressure bleeder/filler.
3. Have you also confirmed that the caliper is not damaged and leaking?

i have not seen any leaking on any of the calipers, i will look for suspension damage today and try to take some pictures of the right front wheel caliper, i also think it is the pump, got air in it. now if it was air in the abs pump why wouldnt air come out when bleeding the brakes i bled them 15+ times with no air
thanks
thanks
