2014 Q7 OEM replacement brake pad question
Does anyone know if the replacement OEM brake pads are L and R or does it not matter which side of the rotor you install them on?
I just purchased a set of OEM F and R pads for my '14 Q7 and it looks like there's a little dab of colour on the top of the metal backing for the pad. On two of the pads is definitely yellow and the other two look kind of whitish. The whitish ones look like the paint is barely on so it's hard to tell what colour they really are.
I had a quick look at them and they all look the same.
Has anyone had any experience with this?

Hey Jonny Rotten,
All of the pads (front and rear) can be inner or outer, and either side. So no directions for the pads and the marks maybe just be for production. But you are good to go and put them in on either side. If you need anything else let me know!
Thank you
