Default Audi Rotors: Who really makes them?

Hi!

It's about time to replace pads and rotors on my 2014 S5. I got to talking to the nice people at ECS Tuning, and they mentioned something quite obvious. VW/Audi doesn't manufacture brake Rotors, they source them from the Meyles, Brembos and Zimmermans of the universe.

(Insert sound of my palm striking my forehead here.)

Does anyone know who makes the rotors for Audi in general and for the S5 in particular?

I'd be very grateful!

Many thanks in advance!

According to the Brembo website, they supply OEM brake rotors to Audi. I am not sure whether this is true for our S5's. According to the ZF (the B9 S4 and S5 TipTronic Tranny manufacturer) website, it seems that they supply the brake calipers with EPB feature for B8/8.5 Audi S5 Sportbacks but I suspect the coupe as well.

I've always liked DBA with Carbotec pads, great brake modulation, easy to clean dust and get double the life out of them on track.
