"3M" clearbra. Who has it? Hood and fenders only or with front bumper?

Consider VentureShield over 3M
Had 3M on my C2S and hated the orange peel look. Decided to try VentureShield on my current car and think it looks a lot better than the 3M product. If you don't like the line, just have the entire hood covered.

The look has less to do with the film...
...and more to do with how it is cut and installed. I've seen 3M and VS look horrible, and I've seen both look good. A lot of it seems to be getting a good piece of film and having it cut correctly (so it doesn't stretch), then installing it without bubbles.

I had ventureshield installed
to the hood, front and fenders as well as the mirrors. I also had the paint "MINGed". Very hard to see the bra. I'm finding it even harder to attached photos so if anyone can tell me how to do it, I'll post a few.

Well, both installed correctly, there is no question that
VentureShield looks better than 3M. However, I believe 3M offers better protection as it is thicker, and the whole objective of the film is to protect the car. So I guess +1 for 3M. Having said that, I'd still choose VentureShield every time.

I've had both on the same car (Ferrari w/non-metallic paint). VS has more ripples, but
in some ways looks less like a film. 3M is thicker and looks more like film, but has less orange peel.

Reason . 3M is fours year old on TT, looks great. Venture on my Rabbit 5 months old looks dirty...
I even used Pleuxs plastic cleaner on both, worked nicely on 3M, no change on Venture. Just my 2 cents and could be linked to White Rabbit and Imola Yellow TT...
