You need glasses. Seriously.
Even people that argue it looks like a BMW 3-series (which I don't see at all) has more of a leg to stand on than you.

a comment....
I like the looks, but as stated in the R&T article, no manual trans coming here, which is a real downer. With no manual gearbox option ,I think alot of core customers will be lost to BMW.

R&am p;T article

Have read on Audi's press release that there will be a tip and a manual for the V6
Now it's just a matter of when the manual wil lbe available... at the time of introduction or later...

http://media.audiusa.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=9954</a

Pretty well gauranteed that there will be some sort of 3.0L V6 for the S4
Supercharged or turbocharged, nobody seems to know for sure. AW thinks one way, Fourtitude the other way and both claim that they have reliable sources within Audi. Same engine will be available for the A6 when it gets it's facelift.
So having said that I'm thinking the same way as hythrax, bring on some turbocharged monster for the next RS4.

I definitely harbour this fear about Audi, and a lot of premium brands.
I would honestly rather take the bus than drive an automatic.
Don't hold me to that if it stays this cold.

I think there'd be nothing better for Audi in this sports-sedan market than a nice surprise.
We're all expecting a 210-ish hp 2.0T. Audi at launch delivers a bi-turbo V6 rear-biased Quattro monster (MANUAL) with horns coming out of the roof. We all throws a par-tay like it's 1969. *Raising the roof* chica chica chica yeeaaah
