Alex, I have been trying to find out if the Canadian Nav in the new A3 allows the customer to update his own Nav Maps as is described in the linked document found on the myAudi website. I have also seen elsewhere that the new service provides 5 updates over 2 years free of charge. No mention of the cost after that. As this is not Audi Connect dependant I am hoping that Canadians will at least get this service. My dealer want's $900 to update the maps in my A5 which I find utterly insane. Any insight would be appreiciated.

None of the Audi Connect features are available in Canada…. yet. No date when but I know they're working on it. Never heard of any free updates.

I realize we don't get Audi Connect, but the Map Update Service does not require Audi Connect according to that manual, and the myAudi web portal has a Canada option.

We don't have NC updates. Must be a deal your dealer offers.
