Default I just got an ipod and want to set it up in the car

Does any have recommendations for hardwiring, or good fm transmitter products that work well? I've had my fair share of crappy fm transmitters...

I have the Symphony head unit with 6 disc in-dash changer in an '04 A4.

Default Find used Dension on eBay

They go for cheap now. Paid a lot years ago, call us early adopters. Get a panavise and proclip if you want to mount the iPod. Wire can be brought into the glovebox and you could leave the ipod in there also if you wish.

Easy job to do, maybe the toughest job is finding somebody with the stereo removal keys.

Default Yes

I use the iPod mode as I don't like the Dension mode. You can fast forward, skip tracks (forward and backwards) with the steering wheel (if the car is on) or with the head unit.

Default I picked up an 'ipod2car' for $75 last Dec - works great

It plugs into the CD changer plug in the trunk; w cable to dash or wherever you decide to put the ipod. Has some control from the head unit (track fwd/back, and ffwd/rewind).
