Such events like that you leave to Police, they are the ones who handle this situation

https://forums.audiworld.com/canada/msgs/106535.phtml</a

You're not going to call the cops for someone cutting you off...

But Alex is no vigilante. He simply regained his spot on the road.

Default No, you read YOUR comment above. Your opening line is that "it is your own

fault."

And don't gloss over the timeline of events. The person was driving agressively, but had not yet run a person off the road. Alex had no way of knowing - when Alex sped up - that the other driver would escalate to that point.

So Alex basically speeds up and doesn't let the guy in - now you're going to tell me that you've NEVER EVER done that - and the guy hits Alex. Yup, seems like a fully justifiable, normal and expected quid pro quo. Please.

Default disagree

you imply that he provoked the attack. i believe that he merely stood his ground ("i didn't let him in").

his only reaction as mentioned in this post was to notice the belligerent driver, and choose not to alter his present course or speed.

this is like saying a kid is wrong for merely saying "no" when asked for his lunch money by a bully. i wouldn't encourage a kid to swear, stand up and pick a fight with the bully, or to do something stupid, but i'd certainly encourage him to stand firm until further provocation. if he got punched or beat up as a result - it would certainly be unfortunate, but i would never blame the victim.

we're not a society filled with pushovers, "yes"-people and people who'll just grab their ankles for anybody, nor are we a society that encourages retributive justice. afretes acted in a balanced manner, IMO, and is certainly not to be blamed for someone else's insanity.

Default read carefull before you start to posting answers

I quote his statement
----------------------
he tried to cut me off once and I didn't let him in so I guess he was pi$$ed.
----------------------
end of quote

don't tell me that doesn't sound like he engaged in blocking "street racer" for what reason, he shouldn't done that at all, leave them, call 911 POLICE will engage , you are risking your life for no reason
-----------
I quote his another statement
-----------
When we approach the 401 E ramp he passes me on the right and cuts me off, he then moves to the right lane again, I pushed the gas to pass him and he purposely hits me (you can see the tire marks on my front door) once in the front door and then on the rear fender.
-----------
end of his statement
--------------

he should of slow down behind and let go, and call Police

Default You still don't get it. I hope for your sake, you're never on the wrong end of

someone else's overreaction.

I hope you're perfectly accomodating everytime you're behind the wheel, lest some jackass try to retaliate by running you off the road.

I hope - like that poor man from St. Catharines - that you ALWAYS give change and bills to homeless people, lest they pull out a knife and stab you.

Because, remember, it will all be your fault.
