My Avant V 3.0 Long story (BWW)
This is where it all started. My 2003 Ming blue Avant. When I bought the car in august 03, I never thought it would turn into a disease.

My first mod was the exhaust system. Thermal R&D bought from David at Eurocode Tuning. I remember the day it came as if it were yesterday. I opened the box and saw that gorgeous system, I was hoocked
<IMG SRC="http://img30.photobucket.com/albums/v90/jazzman59/Exhaust_Thermal_.jpg">
I also remember seeing Foo's Avant on AZ and saying to myself: That's the same car I'm driving??? I did'nt even know we could transform our cars like that.
<IMG SRC="http://img30.photobucket.com/albums/v90/jazzman59/Foo_Avant3.jpg">
Then began my search for "MY" Avant. I was also very impressed by Pavant's Avant. Saturnine and Avantéix were also "good" influence.

Bought some ecodes and suspension (Neuspeed sport springs and Koni shocks) from SPP. That was in november and christmas was coming and I wanted (needed) to buy something for my car. What about some wheels! Those guys from California are putting on 19" wheels so why can't I do it.
Bought the forged DTM Kreuz 10 3 pc in satin silver. I was used to buy 15" tires and when I saw the price for 19" tires I almost had a heart attack. Those Toyo Proxes T1-S looked soo good. I had to have them.
That rear Votex spoiler looked so nice on those Avants. Got it from the dealer as I was in for my inspection.
I was at the point where I *needed* to buy stuff for my car. Then I saw an Avant with them big brakes with gorgeous red calipers. They were Stoptech's but nobody in Canada could get them for me. I wrote to Robert Lee at Stoptech and was able to get a set through a "new" distributor in Quebec. It took two months to get them but I HAD to have those brakes on my car.
Meanwhile I bought Hoen bulbs, Stealth blinkers, Bentley CD and everything I could find or afford.
Then it was the body kit. I wanted (needed) to have my lowers painted so I could save some money and do a body kit at the same time ))
Spoke to David at Eurocode Tuning in California and got the Sportec front spoiler and the side skirts. I was saving money big time now!!!
That kit was very Euro looking and I loved that look. I then saw this GB on S4 door blades that I could not pass by. They complement the body kit so nicely. More savings as I bought them through a GB.
Group buys. That sounded sooooo good. I'm sure there is one right now to help me save some more money. Yep, there is one right now for KW coilovers at 25% off. Dam, I just installed a brand new suspension 3 weeks ago. Hey, we're talking about a 25% saving here!!!! Wake up!
As I was ready to install the Sportec body kit, I realized I needed a new bumper grill to match the black one on the spoiler. VAG Parts have them in stock ready to ship. They also have those pretty S-Line aluminum trim. Can you ship them ASAP Matt? Two days later they were in Mont-St-Hilaire.
Let's see some pics now.
BBK after the "bedding". -After completing installation, make a series of ten stops from 60 to 5-10 MPH. At the end of each stop, immediatly accelerate to 60 MPH again for the next stop.-
One looks pretty stupid doing this on the autoroute. People were staring at me big time.
