Default Need some help guys..Montreal preferred but willing to travel.

Put on my summers last weekend. Dunlop 17" 9090's from the sport package. The tires would have been good for the rest of the summer except for the following problem:
One had a bubble, so now I'm driving on 3 used and the brand new spare. I'm not comfortable doing this (Quattro tire/wheel size difference issue) and i can feel it in the steering wheel that something is not right.

So my options are as follows:

1. 4-5 new tires, in which case I need sugestions as well as sources. I hear the flakens are good and very reasonable,as are the Kumhos.

2. Find a one or more comparable 9090 to purchase.

3. find a set of used summers and sell the ones I've got, recall one is brand new.

4. Sell/trade my sport pack wheels with the 9090's and my 17" winters for some mags with tires and get steelies for the winter.

Any and all comments appreciated.

P.S Looking for summer tires only, no all seasons thanks.

TIA

Default As you mention, "the tires would have been good for the rest of the summer"

If they only have one more season left, I would buy a whole new set and try to sell these ones.

Default What about the size difference issue?

What is the allowable difference in tire tread depth that will not affect quattro?

You won't feel a difference with 2 new tires in the front
